Beautiful Black Walnut Tree from Bedford Road, Toronto
Special Offering
|
A 75+ year old tree had to be removed from a Bedford Road, Toronto property. Woodpeckers had
made holes in the bark and were compromising the structure and safety of the tree and
neighbouring properties. We feel lucky to have obtained this wood due to the shortage of recycled
black walnut trees in our city.
These logs will take 4 to 6 months to process into bowls and art-forms, in my workshop. By placing an order in
advance with a small deposit, we will be able to keep our costs lower and pass the savings on to our customers.
At this stage we will also be able to customize any special requirements as regards to size and shape.
A limited quantity of larger-sized ( 16"to 22" wide) bowls, nested sets and platters (shallow bowls) are available.
Each finished woodturning will be numbered and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
These pieces make beautiful heirloom gifts.
